On-Site Esports Installation Services

With on-site esports installation services, ggCircuit's SpecOps Managed Services Team works in your building to bring the gaming stations and on-premise server online, configure ggLeap and ggRock together, and train your staff on the systems they will run every day. It is provided under a Managed Services Agreement.

Opening or expanding a gaming venue comes down to one critical stretch: hardware arrives on pallets, the network goes live, the software stack has to be configured, and staff must learn the tools before the first customer walks in. An on-site install makes that stretch predictable.

This page explains what an on-site engagement covers: the hardware and software bring-up of stations and the server, how ggLeap and ggRock are configured together, what staff training during the install looks like, and the handover checklist that closes the visit.

When On-Site Installation Makes Sense

ggLeap ships with guided setup and 24/7 live chat support, and many venues install it themselves — there is also a free 30-day trial with every feature enabled and no credit card required. On-site esports installation services are for projects where remote help is not enough: a new build with dozens of stations, a hard opening date, a diskless ggRock deployment that reaches into the server room, or a team that has never operated venue software before.

ggCircuit serves gaming centers, universities, schools, hotels, and retail locations, and the installation scope adapts to each. A university lab cares about safe student accounts and game control; a hotel cares about unattended stations; a LAN center cares about front desk throughput on opening night.

  • Physical and network bring-up of gaming stations and the on-premise server
  • ggRock deployment: master image, snapshots, and diskless boot for every PC
  • ggLeap configuration: accounts, pricing, POS, and the player web portal
  • Staff training on the live system during the install
  • A documented handover checklist before the team leaves

Hardware and Software Bring-Up

The bring-up starts at the server. ggRock runs on an on-premise server that holds the operating system and game images for the whole floor, and the installation covers disk array management so image storage is laid out correctly from day one. Once the server is live, each gaming PC is set to PXE-boot the shared disk image over the network — no per-machine Windows installs, no per-machine game downloads.

Seamless Boot handles the hardware side of that process: it automatically detects and installs the right network drivers for new hardware configurations, which matters when a venue opens with a mix of station builds or when replacement PCs arrive later. During the install, every station is booted and verified against the image, and ggRock and ggLeap end up sharing computer names, hardware information, and configuration.

ggLeap and ggRock Configuration

The two products split the work cleanly: ggRock is the infrastructure layer that decides what is on every disk, and ggLeap is the operations layer that decides who plays, what they pay, and what they can launch. The install configures both and connects them.

ggRock: Images, Snapshots, and Scheduling

The install produces a master OS and game image plus a snapshot structure your team can maintain. Keep-writeback is assigned per PC where persistence is needed, rollback and retention settings protect against bad changes, and the boot scheduler powers machines up and down around opening hours. Because changes revert on reboot, every session starts from a clean, identical state — and an update applied once propagates venue-wide without staff touching individual machines. Active Directory support is configured where a school or university requires it.

ggLeap: Accounts, Payments, and the Player Portal

On the operations side, the install sets up player accounts and authentication on every station, time tracking and session billing, and the integrated POS with Stripe payments — customer payment data stays private, even from ggCircuit. Game launching is configured with centralized license management, through Just Play pre-created accounts or your own accounts across Steam, Battle.net, and Epic. The auto-generated player web portal goes live so customers can create accounts, browse games, and book and pay for PCs, and it can be embedded in your existing website via iframe.

Staff Training During the Install

Training during the install beats training from documentation because staff learn on the exact machines, pricing, and layout they will operate. The work splits into two tracks that match how venues divide responsibilities, and because ggLeap administration is web-based, the same skills apply whether staff are at the front desk or checking on the venue from home.

  • Front desk: starting and ending sessions, time billing, POS payments, managing PC reservations from the booking calendar, and running loyalty tools such as memberships, digital coupon campaigns, and the coin economy
  • Technical staff: applying a game update once and pushing it to every station through snapshots, rolling an image back after a bad change, using virtual machines to maintain an image without launching a physical PC, and powering stations on, off, or into a reboot from the machines view

The Handover Checklist

The visit ends with a structured handover rather than a wave goodbye. Before the SpecOps team signs off, the venue walks through a checklist that proves the system works end to end and that staff can operate it without help in the room.

  • Every station PXE-boots from the master image and reaches the ggLeap client
  • A test customer journey runs clean: account creation, session start, game launch, and POS payment
  • The player web portal is live and, where wanted, embedded in the venue website
  • The master image is snapshotted with a verified rollback point and retention settings
  • The boot scheduler matches venue hours and every PC reports in the machines view
  • Staff know the escalation path: 24/7 live chat support from ggCircuit

After the Install

Handover does not end the relationship. Under a Managed Services Agreement, the same SpecOps team delivers daily game updates, so new patches reach the master image without your staff managing downloads. 24/7 live chat support covers day-to-day questions, and web-based administration means many issues can be diagnosed remotely without another site visit. That continuity is what separates on-site esports installation services from a one-time setup call — and venues planning a second location or an esports program can draw on ggCircuit's consulting services.
