| Just wanted to run down some website updates related to the upgrades we did yesterday. A lot of the stuff we did yesterday was database related so you won't necessarily see it from your perspective but it will help gg Circuit down the road. 1.) Ability to change name in your profile We had some people request to be able to do this (although I'm not sure why or how your real name changes, but that's just me). So now you'll be able to do that. 2.) Circuits page You will see a new "Circuits" area at the top site menu. This will be the area to see player and team records. This is currently a work in progress, however we currently have the match data for the first day of the January Halo 3 Semi-Pro tournament. We will be adding the championship data for the Halo 3 tournament as well as the data for tomorrow's Madden tournament very soon. Also once I figure out what the H The Commish's point system calculations are, those will also be added to the data. So keep in mind this is a work in progress, but we are excited to at least have a start on it. Coming soon will also be a results page for each past event which will show all wins, losses, byes, and scores. 3.) Ability to use a previous team for a future event We added the ability to re-use a previous team when registering for a future event. Keep in mind that you must have been the captain of the team to re-use a previous team. Whatever personnel was used for that past event will automatically be added to that team, however, you can edit that team if the personnel changes.
**IMPORTANT TO NOTE** - It is important to use the same team for each event as it will tally your overall team record in the Circuits area. 4.) Ability to change team name We also received a few requests for this. You can now change your team name in the edit team area. Keep in mind that if this is a team you've used over and over, it will change the team name for all previous events where that team has been used. 5.) Current forum posts on the homepage We have added the most recent forum posts in select forums areas to show up on the homepage. May save you users some clicks rather than going into the forums to see what's new. We will be adding this also to the Circuits pages eventually so you can see related posts to a specific circuit. 6.) General formatting and css changes. We've gone back and tried to update some areas that didn't make sense (to me anyway) design wise. Hope this helps. We will continue to tweak and update for sure. I think that's about it, from what I remember. **PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE*** We want to make this site the best for all of you. If there is something not quite working right or suggestions you'd like to make, please let us know. Since I am usually the one testing things (except for Kendall and Colin, shout out, thanks guys), I won't always know if I've missed something. If we don't know, we can't fix it. We will try to get things fixed as soon as we can. Thanks and gg to all, J-Mac
Mama says it bees that way sometimes.
